When to get help
Pause here
Arrange prompt medical or poison-service assessment if mercury is listed or exposure is suspected, especially during pregnancy or breastfeeding or when a child may have been exposed. Tremor, memory or thinking changes, reduced urine, new swelling, or marked skin or eye changes need prompt medical care. Breathing difficulty, fainting or severe weakness needs emergency care.
